The Opportunity

Sany America is looking for a Parts Pricing & Sales Analyst to review and make recommendations related to spare parts pricing. Primary duties will include conducting market research to learn more about competitive price points, reviewing historical sales data and future company revenue targets and recommending a market price for a range of products based on their findings. This role will also coordinate with the Sany America Procurement team to identify and drive cost reduction opportunities to enhance profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will work directly with the Parts Sales Manager to ensure an effective pricing and sales strategy is executed. This will require:

  • Analyzing pricing data from industry standard, previous sales trends and competitors and reporting findings and recommendations to decision-makers
  • Assist Parts Sales team where needed in generating sales forecasts
  • Identify marketing and promotion strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends
  • Identify appropriate sales and discount prices to increase customer traffic
  • Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine the causes for increase or decrease
  • Monitor customer feedback to enhance pricing effectiveness

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong analytical skills are necessary to compare sales trends and translate market data into actions
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and teamwork skills with the ability to build trust and credibility
  • Very detail oriented and organized.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of creativity and mature judgement in anticipating and solving non-reoccurring, unprecedented problems. Have a Root Cause/Countermeasure approach to problem solving (analytical vs. intuitive)
  • High energy with a sense of urgency, resiliency, and self-confidence
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience in and knowledge of heavy equipment industry and spare parts preferred

COMPENSATION

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary, an annual performance bonus, and other exceptional benefits.
