Responsibilities
Maintain the Applicant Tracking System, creating and monitoring job postings and managing applicant flow
Coordinate the interview process; conduct initial screening and schedule interviews
Assist new hires in accurately completing required onboarding tasks, track and monitor outstanding documents and conduct pre-employment verifications
Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
Assign, track, and document compliance with training and continuing education, such as safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensures, and certifications and compliance testing
Periodically audit team member records to ensure completeness and accuracy
Be familiar with all company policies and procedures to assist applicants and current team members, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
Assists with the administration of workplace injury incidents, leaves of absence and company safety program ensuring thorough documentation
Research and maintain knowledge of trends, best practices and new technologies in talent acquisition
Partners with Finance and HR management to continuously improve programs and processes to support the growth and needs of the company, assisting with special projects as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Have a working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures, including an understanding of basic employment-related regulations
Be able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
Have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines with the appropriate sense of urgency and prioritization
Demonstrated previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System, onboarding and E-Verify
Minimum two years experience working within a human resources environment
Ability to work a varied, flexible schedule occasionally
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds
