Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System, creating and monitoring job postings and managing applicant flow

  • Coordinate the interview process; conduct initial screening and schedule interviews

  • Assist new hires in accurately completing required onboarding tasks, track and monitor outstanding documents and conduct pre-employment verifications

  • Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings

  • Assign, track, and document compliance with training and continuing education, such as safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensures, and certifications and compliance testing

  • Periodically audit team member records to ensure completeness and accuracy

  • Be familiar with all company policies and procedures to assist applicants and current team members, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff

  • Assists with the administration of workplace injury incidents, leaves of absence and company safety program ensuring thorough documentation

  • Research and maintain knowledge of trends, best practices and new technologies in talent acquisition

  • Partners with Finance and HR management to continuously improve programs and processes to support the growth and needs of the company, assisting with special projects as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Have a working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures, including an understanding of basic employment-related regulations

  • Be able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times

  • Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills

  • Have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines with the appropriate sense of urgency and prioritization

  • Demonstrated previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System, onboarding and E-Verify

  • Minimum two years experience working within a human resources environment

  • Ability to work a varied, flexible schedule occasionally


Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds
