Summary
This position performs administrative functions primarily for their assigned Engagement Executives and other team members as needed. This position also serves to support the other members of our administrative group as necessary.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Proofread and format engagement letters, correspondence and proofing for grammatical and spelling errors.
2. Ensures final product returned to the Engagement Executives, internal or external clients meets or exceeds the firm’s quality      standards.
3. Schedule client appointments as requested.
4. Data entry for billings, client information updates, log in and out tax information, check-in and out binders and other data            entry as assigned.
5. Create and maintain client files in accordance with firm standards.
6. Performs client follow up calls as requested to gather information.
7. Respond promptly and appropriately to client inquiries and work requests.
8. Back up for financial statements following firm procedures in accordance with firm standards.
9. Help with Admin Scans, Filing and Purge Project as time permits.
10. Back up receptionist as needed.
11. Out-going mail, Client deliveries and other errands as needed.
12. Seek opportunities as workload permits to learn and cross-train in other administrative functions.
13. Assist other administrative team members as workload permits.
14. Other duties as needed.

 

Education/Experience Required:
High school diploma required. Minimum of 2-4 years of general office experience preferred. Professional service firm experience a plus.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Able to read; write legibly; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and other in-house software). Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with other; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively and meet deadlines. Organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Problem solves, use sound judgment and work well under pressure. Must be decisive, work within deadlines and effectively handle stress.
