Distribution / Warehouse / Material Handler / Delivery Driver ( Flatbed and Dually trucks) - LaGrange, GA

Distribution Responsibilities Include:

  • Checks material received via Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx or customer returns.
  • Pulls orders for shipment from warehouse and pipe yard inventory utilizing order picker or forklift equipment.
  • Stages and prepares orders for shipment while ensuring the items are packaged neatly.
  • Completes all shipping paperwork and computer entry promptly monitoring closely for any quality discrepancies.

Driver/Delivery Responsibilities Include:

  • Loads & Secures orders onto Eastern vehicles.
  • Maintains Daily Truck logs including all safety and pre-trip checklists.
  • Delivers orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
  • Maintains phone & GPS contact with the supervisor to communicate delivery instructions or updates.
  • Inspects truck equipment & performs emergency roadside repairs when needed.

What We Need From You:

  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; strongly prefer at least 1 year of related warehouse, forklift, and delivery driving experience; Flatbed, Box Truck or Dually experience is required.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and experience.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Medical Certificate/Health Card following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations. Valid Driver's License and good driver record. Will need to be Forklift certified
  • Location: You must live within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center. This job is NOT remote and requires you to enter the center every workday.
  • Physical Ability: You must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing. And operate a forklift
  • Drug test, background check, and motor vehicle report check required before starting
