Under the direction of the Receiving Supervisor and or Facility Manager

  • Verifies that items have been received correctly by matching product description, quantity, packaging unit, and expiration date on packing slip, with the product received.
  • Breaks down pallet of products received by sorting into correct items.
  • Notes discrepancies, damages, and marks products for review by department supervisor as appropriate.
  • Must utilize RF technology.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
  • Verifies count, weight, or measurements of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading in order to sort product from pallets
  • Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items.
  • Route items to various departments.
  • Operate lift truck to move shipments from receiving platform to storage area.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with Management and department team
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience with Logistics, Warehouse operations, Reach Truck & Fork-lift operation
  • Team player, problem solver, good coaching/teaching skills and can multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Leadership, management & vision necessary to ensure that the facility has the proper operational controls & work to meet or exceed expectations with a sense of urgency.
  • Integrity in every action, respect for all

Working conditions:

Moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to cold, heat, dust and loud noise. Push and pulling pallets and lifting products; Crouching is required up to 15% of the shift; Physical strength to handle up to 50+ pound object, frequently.

Above average coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot and balance; above average endurance.


Schedule: M-F 6am-3pm
