Job Summary:
Firkins CDJR in BRADENTON, Florida is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary of $90000 to $120000 per year, paid weekly. The Automotive Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Diesel Technician
- ASE certifications in diesel engines, electrical systems, and brake systems preferred
- Proficient in diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
