As our name implies, we have a 100-year history and specific expertise in the manufacturing of heavy-duty crankshafts and camshafts, pump shafts, press shafts for internal combustion engines, reciprocating pumps, and Presses.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, as well as the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems. Proficiency in using digital and analog volt/ohm meters, amp meters, and megohm meters is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings to effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
  • Work with various voltages, including 480V, 240V, and 120V, encompassing both single and 3-phase circuits.
  • Perform motor and control repairs for plant equipment such as large lathes, mills, grinders, and overhead cranes.
  • Conduct building repairs involving electrical wiring, power distribution wiring, and light fixture wiring.
  • Ability to bend conduit and pull wiring for new and used equipment installations throughout the plant while adhering to OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintaining and repairing electrical systems or industrial electronics or machine tool maintenance in an industrial setting.
  • Possess basic hand tools.
  • Familiarity with observing safety regulations and protocols in an industrial setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, drive a tow motor, operate overhead cranes, and work from ladders or manlifts throughout the building.
