As the Talent Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing and screening, interview scheduling, and hiring.
  • Creating and managing job postings on various platforms to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Conducting initial resume reviews and phone screenings to identify qualified candidates.
  • Scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates and hiring managers, and managing logistics for virtual or in-person interviews.
  • Maintaining regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Supporting onboarding by preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Helping organize and participate in recruitment events, such as job fairs and networking events.
  • Ensuring all recruitment activities comply with relevant federal and CA laws and regulations.
  • Providing general administrative support to the People Operations team as needed.

  • Part-time (20 hours a week)

  • Sylmar, CA

Compensation:

  • Starting at $20.00 - $22.00/hour (depending on prior experience and qualifications)

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in recruitment or human resources.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or human resources.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in the non-profit sector.
