This position is a full-time, in person position reporting to the Marketing Director. As the Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for art, design, animation and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. Conceptualizing and executing campaigns that align with our brand identity while driving desired customer behaviors and propelling our creative vision forward.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with marketing team and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
  • Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
  • Design graphics, animation clip art, and stock photography, as appropriate; may enhance choices with simple drawings.
  • Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by Marketing Director or designee or other project participants.
  • Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to appropriate staff or departments for review.
  • Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
  • Prepares print orders and assembly instructions on notification of final approval.
  • Design appealing social media content regarding our product and services according to our social media strategy.
  • Bring products to life and engage audiences through visual storytelling.
  • Create visually compelling 360 branded marketing campaigns and advertising collateral for email, website, print, digital advertising, and internal communications.
  • Juggle multiple projects, stay organized, manage a large volume of files, keeping your own workload on track, and reaching out to key team members as needed to keep projects moving.
  • Keep your teammates and manager informed of status and pertinent roadblocks while approaching challenges with solution-oriented thinking.
  • Work with other brand designers and marketing teams to employ visual consistency across all consumer touchpoint.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Illustration, or other similar design software.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on an assignment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual - (English & Spanish)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.
  • At least two years of related work experience highly preferred.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
