This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting our dealership's inventory management and ensuring timely vehicle transfers between dealerships.

Position Overview: As a Dealer Trade Driver, you will play a vital role in facilitating the exchange of vehicles between our dealership and other dealerships within our network. You will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles to and from various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering vehicles in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport vehicles between our dealership and other dealerships for trade-in or customer deliveries.
  • Inspect vehicles for any damage before and after transportation, documenting any discrepancies.
  • Ensure vehicles are securely loaded and unloaded from transport trailers or trucks.
  • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with dealership staff and external contacts to coordinate vehicle transfers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles during transportation.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating vehicles.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a driving role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to safely operate various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and transport trailers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect vehicles for damage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
