First Look: Sports Business Intern
TheStreet is seeking an intern for our sports business vertical. We're looking for an ambitious candidate with sound journalistic skills who thrives working in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should be able to write quickly and clearly. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.
The Arena Group’s expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $20/hour.

What You’ll Do:
Write content in the sports business space, focusing especially on women’s collegiate and professional sports
Assist in identifying potential stories by closely monitoring breaking news and trending topics via social media, Google, and other tools
Provide input on compelling story ideas and concepts that attract wide audiences
Produce quality stories at a high volume
What You’ll Bring:
Currently completing college degree or recently graduated
Possesses an understanding of the online media landscape
Strong editorial and communication skills
Interest in sports and sports journalism
Comfortable with a fast-paced hybrid newsroom
