- Review blueprints, specifications, and other documentations to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze project requirements, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors’ costs, to determine project expenses.
- Present cost estimates to project team and provide explanations when necessary
- Document information into Bid Recording Sheet, organize and participate in Post Bid Review.
- Willingness to learn Construct Connect and Plan Swift
- This position will support and work with the Director of Field Operations and Director of Sales in a variety of tasks to include accurate bidding of residential and commercial work along with assisting in daily operations or tasks as delegated by the Department Head
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as project manager or project estimator.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite In-field troubleshooting and independent decision-making for successful outcomes
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule for glass installation projects
- Collaborative approach for continued teamwork
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Project Manager, preferred
- Glass industry experience, preferred
