Reporting to IREP's HSE Global Head, you will be responsible for the Environmental Management across North America & Latin America in addition to the implementation of Health & Safety management system across the FM (Facility Management) operations.

You will support the IREP Operational teams in delivering the requirements set out below and provide support to FM (Facility Management) Operations in the region. Whilst the role is primarily regional based, it will require time in supporting the HSE initiatives/audits/operations as required globally.

Essential criteria

  • Engineering Graduate with a diploma in any Environmental related course or University degree, Bachelors, or Masters in the discipline of science, engineering, Health & Safety management
  • Experience of 7+ years in an Environmental role in the facility industry
  • Experience of 7+ years in implementing Health & Safety Management system
  • Good understanding Federal law relating to facility management, Environment & Health & Safety in North America
  • Good planning, analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) in English.
  • Highly developed Presentation, training, and coaching skills
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks.
  • Readiness to travel to client sites when required.
  • Computer skills, such as Word & Excel
  • Working knowledge in Incident management, Incident Investigations & report writing
  • Recent relevant experience working directly for clients.
  • Experience of working in remotely

Desirable criteria

  • Additional qualifications/certificates for Environmental such as an Environmental diploma or certificate in Environmental Management etc.
  • Additional HSE certifications such NEBOSH, IOSH etc., or equivalent
  • Experience working for an international company based outside North America.
  • Experience of working with multi-cultural teams.
  • Experience in managing a team.
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • HSE Auditing experience

What will your role look like?

  • Provide comprehensive HSE support across all FM operations, including engineering & maintenance, soft services, and catering.
  • Coordinate and implement annual HSE plans at site level.
  • Exposure to waste management
  • Disposal operations for hazardous, non-hazardous, biological, and radiological waste streams.
  • Waste water treatment and storm water runoff.
  • Maintain and communicate HSE Management System policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Evaluate conformance, drive continuous improvement, and close gaps in compliance.
  • Develop and manage building risk register in alignment with company/client Risk Management Framework
  • Assist Clients HSE/Real Estate Manager in site HSE requirements.
  • Support incident investigations and ensure accurate incident reporting and resolution.
  • Analyse HSE performance data for trends and share best practices.
  • Lead rollout of HSE initiatives and campaigns
  • Plan, execute, and monitor HSE audits and assurance activities.
  • Assist Global HSE in managing, reviewing, and developing IREP management system.
  • Support Regional Operations Manager in contract HSE deliverables.
  • Guide regional site teams in Environmental and Waste management activities.
  • Collaborate with contractors on bridging documentation between HSE systems.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly and annual HSE reports.
  • Evaluate and approve contractors through IREP procurement process.
  • Foster positive safety culture and behaviours across operations
