Job DescriptionJob Description

Large managed care company is looking for someone experienced with Front Desk Registration. You will provide administrative support for the clinic, process referrals for Medicare Advantage plan and FFS plan patients, and assist the front office with checking in patients.

Work Location: 7139 Red Bug Lake Rd, Oviedo, FL 32765

Pay: $18.00

Contract Dates: 5/6/24 - 8/5/24

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8-5 (40 hrs/wk)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Greets patients as they arrive and manages 10 minute wait time.
  • Assists patient with intake processes including copying required documents.
  • Answers phones and schedules appointments.
  • Will assist primarily with high volume inbound calls.
  • Assist with coordination and processing of all patient referrals for specialty services.
  • Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, balancing daily collections, data-entry, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Healthcare background, preferably primary care
  • call center experience or experience with high volume of calls
  • experience with Medicare Advantage insurance plans
  • Great customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with eCW (EMR system) is a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus
