To build on this team, we are searching for a Fabrication Associate / Welder. This role will collaborate with various departments to fabricate custom-designed structures & machine components according to blueprints. The ideal candidate will understand welding fundamentals, techniques, strategies, and be comfortable using related tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain welders MIG/TIG
  • Operate band, chop, and table saws
  • Operate belt sanders, grinders, and other handheld power tools
  • Operate overhead crane and forklift
  • Convert decimals into fractions for layouts
  • Use and read tape measures accurately
  • Adhere to all safety standards
  • Update process statuses daily
  • Read blueprints and layouts
  • Sort, organize, and stage saw cut materials for weldments

Required Tools:
  • Tape measure, 25’
  • Combination squares, 12” and 6”
  • Angle finder
  • Magnetic level
  • Allen wrenches
  • Welding helmet
  • Leather steel-toe boots with lace covers

Qualifications:
  • Formal training and/or 1-3 years on the job fabrication experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated skill in operating MIG welder, TIG welder, saw cut and related machinery
  • Ability to maintain a steady pace while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and climbing into and beneath machines
  • Work as part of a team or independently with direction from Fabrication Lead
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
  • Ability to obtain Hi-Lo and Aerial Platform and Overhead Crane license
