Overview:

M247 is looking for a Senior Wireless Networking Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wireless technologies and experience designing and implementing wireless networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and manage wireless networks
  • Conduct site surveys and coverage testing
  • Develop and maintain network documentation
  • Participate and lead in the design, planning, and implementation of wireless systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive network solutions
  • Troubleshoot wireless network issues

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G, and other wireless protocols
  • CWDP, CCNP Wireless, ACMP or equivalent experience
  • Strong Ekahau experience in conducting wireless site surveys (Predictive, Active, Passive, Post, Spectrum, and Outdoor) designing and troubleshooting wireless networks
  • Strong understanding of Cisco DNAC, ISE, 802.1x, MAB, ClearPass, Routing and Switching.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in wireless networking
  • Expertise in Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies and solutions

Requirements:

  • Must pass a thorough background check and 12-panel drug test
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
  • Travel requirement up to 50%
  • US citizens or green card holders only
  • 1099 or C2C only
  • No agencies or recruiting firms

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate range $85 - $115
  • Travel expenses reimbursed per client travel policy
