Job DescriptionJob Description

Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, preparing, and providing detailed planning and schedules for maintenance activities to improve plant overall productivity, efficiency, and cost.

Some of the essential duties of the position include:

  • Developing the weekly, monthly and annual shutdown plans based upon plant and CMMS requirements
  • Scheduling work and equipment downtime in order to meet reliability, productivity and cost reduction goals
  • Working with area supervisors to provide job specific plans and liaise with other departments that are involved with the execution of the plan and provides administrative assistance to Mechanical Maintenance with functions such as invoice processing, cost control, filing, data management, and vacation schedules.
