Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with development, platform, operations, and product teams to ensure that all applications are integrated to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain secure and reliable integrations to connect different applications (on-prem, SAAS, Cloud applications).
  • Create and manage data flows between applications.
  • Implement transformation, orchestration, and protocol conversion between different applications.
  • Implement different integration styles (APIs, messaging, file, shared data).
  • Design and Manage API documentation in standard frameworks / specs (OpenAPI)
  • Automate unit and integration tests using integration testing frameworks within a given platform (Munits for MuleSoft)
  • Analyze and debug application integration issues and test/deploy fixes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Enable integration to different observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Cloud Technologies
  • Monitor system performance and modify as needed.
  • Provide support for integration-related tasks.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
  • 5+ years of previous working experience as an Application Integration Engineer
  • Working experience and knowledge of one integration platform (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration, IBM App Connect, Tibco, Informatica)
  • Working experience and knowledge of integrations using Cloud Platform technologies (AWS Appflow, Azure data factory, Google dataflow)
  • Working experience and knowledge of one of API management platforms (MuleSoft, Apigee, Kong)
  • Working experience and knowledge of low code integrations tools (Workato, Snaplogic)
  • Working experience and knowledge of Messaging technologies (Kafka, AWS services such as kinesis, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Azure Service Bus, Google Pub/Sub)
  • Experience designing and developing inbound and outbound integration interfaces with API Web services (REST and SOAP service development skills)
  • Knowledge and experience of XML related technologies (XML, XSD, XPATH, XSLT)
  • Experience in HTTP, REST, SOAP, JSON, FTP, SFTP, cloud object storage (AWS S3, Azure Blob storage, google storage) technologies.
  • Experience of integrating with databases (SQL) for application integration
  • Knowledge and experience with Software Version Control systems: GIT, SVN etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes and tools
  • Knowledge and experience with team collaboration platforms: e.g. JIRA, ServiceNow, AzureDevOps and strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience monitoring integrations using observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk and Cloud technologies (AWS CloudWatch)
