As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you play a crucial role in ensuring the overall satisfaction and well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks related to apartment occupancy, building maintenance, move-ins, move-outs, unit turns, work orders, HVAC repair, plumbing, drywall, and providing exceptional customer service. Your technical expertise and dedication to quality workmanship will contribute to creating a comfortable and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS:

  • Complete work orders on timely basis.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Check, troubleshoot and repair the following items: appliances, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, electrical.
  • Inspect the community on a regular basis and report any needs to the Service Director.
  • Participate in all community maintenance duties, including; preventative maintenance, service request completion, and grounds keeping.
  • Handle emergencies that arise with appropriate communication and reporting follow up.
  • Conduct business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other laws pertaining to multifamily housing.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Experience using equipment, supplies, and materials used in the maintenance field.
  • Excellent customer service and passion for helping people.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 90 pounds.
  • Attention to safety and ability to comply with all MSDA Sheets.
  • Good communication and attention to detail.
