Your Role and Impact

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Dispatcher to join our team. The Warehouse Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of deliveries, ensuring efficient workflow within the warehouse, and maintaining clear communication with drivers and other team members. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and schedule deliveries, plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency, and ensure timely and accurate dispatch of drivers to various locations to meet delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers to provide them with necessary instructions and updates on delivery schedules.
  • Monitor the status of deliveries and address any delays or issues that may arise, keeping customers informed of any changes to their delivery times.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, driver assignments, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Assist in the coordination of warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and management to optimize workflow and ensure efficient operations.
  • Utilize computer systems and software to track shipments, update inventory records, and generate reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Management

 

Your Profile


  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or transportation management systems.
  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
  • PC aptitude is very helpful for assignments requiring input and data retrieval through electronic inventory systems.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, producing adequate volumes of quality work.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Office Presence: Full-time in office, 5 days per week
  • Environment: Works in a large, open, well-ventilated warehouse. May be subject to some variations in temperature, normally not to the extreme.
  • Physical Effort: Work requires infrequent physical demands
  • Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
