Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, calibration, and operation of machine equipment in a Manufacturing environment (retail customization). Works from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models. Inspects machining operations and finished products against specifications using precision measuring tools. Determines and corrects minor machine malfunctions. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning. May include packing, wrapping, securing, labeling, and shipping.

Essential Job Functions: 
  • Operates embroidery machines and Direct to Garment machine.
  • Operates small machines such as merrowing, laminating and clicking.
  • Performs light maintenance on small machines in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Inspects completed products and materials to assure quality standards are met.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications: 
  • 1+ years of experience running small machinery in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience performing routine maintenance and/or simple repairs to small machinery in a Manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience using industrial sewing machines and DTG machines is strongly preferred. 
  • Close visual acuity to rethread sewing needles, inspect products, materials and machinery for accuracy, quality, and defects.
  • Finger dexterity to manipulate small objects and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift a roll of fabric up to 50lbs up to 3 times a day

Hourly Pay Range: $17.00-$18.00 (depending on experience)
