JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing overall management of field service outages for transactional and LTA customers. Plan and provide necessary costing, scheduling, outage personnel needs, site infrastructure needs for planned and unplanned outage transactional and LTA customers. Support the field activities to drive a strong EHS culture, quality, and continuous improvement. The position provides an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, flexible individual who enjoys challenging and diverse job responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Plan, schedule, and support dispatching of field service personnel to field service outages.
  • Lead pre outage planning together with the Project Management team by providing key planning information like cost, schedule, infrastructure, rental equipment, personnel planning, scope of work, organizational charts, tooling needs.
  • Support development of quality job books through alignment with the Field Service Quality Manager.
  • Support development of work instructions and other quality related documents through alignment with the Field Service Quality Manager.
  • Review and approve Field Service Outage Reports.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators for outage performance like outage duration, man-hours, delays, Ewa’s, and overall cost performance.
  • Support sales and tendering with pre-bid meetings, costing, overall planning, scope development, and other requirements of tender opportunities.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement in all key areas of outage performance, EHS, Quality, and Schedule
  • Support and work with Supply Chain and Project Management to select key vendors to successfully execute field service activities.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to field service personnel.
  • Manage the use and adherence to all quality and EHS documentation required to successfully and safely complete field service projects.
  • Support field service personnel successfully completing necessary training needs and certifications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in managing field service outage activities.
  • 5+ years of experience working on F class Gas Turbines.
  • Proven ability to act independently, demonstrating initiative and ownership.
  • Personality & ability to work within a multi-cultural environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and executing project plans according to quality, cost, and delivery specifications.
  • 5+ years of experience solving technical or organizational problems on cross-functional teams, with communication skills at an advanced level.
  • 5+ years of experience making sound judgments and decisions; including speed, quality, and complexity.
  • 5+ years of experience presenting technical topics to peers, higher management, and customers.
  • Proven track record of EHS leadership by example; including personal responsibility to prevent accidents, reward and encourage proactive safety, participation in risk assessment and EHS initiatives, take actions aligned to proper work conditions including business travel, customer site requirements, and overall employee wellbeing.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to operational management; including SAP, Primavera, MS Office programs.
  • Ability to be on call after normal working times and maintain flexible work hours.
  • Ability to travel 10 – 20% both domestic and international with limited notice.
