JOB SUMMARY:

The Capture and Transition Project Manager (PM II) will be responsible for understanding Federal Civilian Cloud Contracts and collaborate with teammates and customers to respond and win Request for Quote (RFQ) and transition the successful RFQ to project start-up. This role may also be responsible for the management of process from project initiation to close including project planning, resource planning, project kickoff, project status meeting, project controlling, deliverable coordination and project close. A PM II would need to have excellent customer facing and internal communication skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop intimate knowledge of the relevant programs, Federal Civilian Cloud Contracts and its customers
  • Leverage IDIQ knowledge and Zivaro’s capabilities to drive and win RFQs within the IDIQ
  • Collaborate with Zivaro technology leaders to ensure RFQ requirements align with Zivaro’s tech stack
  • Work with the sub-contractor manager to determine additional resource needs
  • Discover customer preferences and collaborate to develop RFQs that address their needs in a way that’s better than their alternatives
  • Contribute to long-term growth and profitability through creative thinking, positive participation, and excellent communication internally and externally
  • Ensure projects meet financial objectives, budgets and that the project scope and deliverables are met by the entire project team
  • Work to ensure customer satisfaction is met and is addressed according to Zivaro guidelines
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques including invoicing and completing contractual change process (incorporating funding/contract modifications)
  • Collaborate with project team and business unit leaders on project schedule requirements and changes
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Collaborate with teammates and customers to respond and win Request for Quote (RFQ)
  • Transition the successful RFQ to project start-up
  • Track and forecasting internal spending against budgets
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of contracts' status to customers and stakeholders
  • Delivering & documenting services engagement documentation and contracts according to Zivaro guidelines
  • Act as the primary point of contact to Zivaro internal business stakeholders from the Zivaro Services Team
  • Operating under little supervision on a day to day basis
  • Providing support to proposals and contracts representing team objectives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in contract management, federal contracts, operations, financial, and project management
  • Strong understanding of federal contract vehicles, processes and management
  • Able to work across lines of business to implement optimized business practices that can set the foundation for future growth
  • Ability to communicate with leadership, engineers, and customers successfully

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience preferred but not required

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required

U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions at Zivaro, due to security clearance and government/federal contracts held by Zivaro.
