Led by the values and mission of the organization, The High Net Worth Personal Lines Practice Leader will be pivotal to driving the growth and success of our high net worth (HNW) personal lines division, delivering exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to affluent individuals and families. This role is responsible for leading the sales and service activities, including people, for all HNW business at Oakbridge.


WORK PERFORMED:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability within the high net worth personal lines division.
  • Oversees all people, systems, and processes related to the servicing of HNW clients
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of personal lines insurance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Must be able to provide leadership and oversight to a dispersed and remote workforce
  • Works in conjunction with HR, and other functional areas, to identify, hire, train, and retain talent
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high net worth clients, understanding their unique insurance needs and delivering personalized solutions.
  • Create a system that ensures the unit acts as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert advice on coverage options, risk management, and insurance portfolio optimization.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the high net worth market segment, leveraging existing networks and proactively seeking out potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the brokerage's marketing and business development teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives to attract high net worth clients.
  • Work closely with carriers and underwriters to ensure best in class coverage options for high net worth clients, ensuring their insurance portfolios meet their evolving needs.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis for high net worth individuals and families, recommending appropriate coverage solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to high net worth personal lines insurance, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and standards.
  • Ensure the division's scalability by implementing best practices policies and procedures that will support a much larger growing organization
  • Establishes and implements sales goals, strategies, programs, policies, and procedures in support of overall division objectives, including budget.
  • Manages producers, assigning sales responsibilities and evaluating results; provides leadership, coaching, counseling, and guidance to staff.
  • Resolves escalated issues and problems by conferring with staff, other internal departments, outside contacts, and clients as necessary.
  • Takes active role in sales development efforts, typically assisting with more complex customer situations as needed.
  • Leads and manages the unit's onboarding efforts of newly acquired agencies' HNW business. This role will be responsible for ensuring new partnerships integrate its' HNW clients into the division
  • Represents the division as appropriate in its relationships with clients, carriers, industry groups, regulatory agencies, and professional associations. Networked and ability to influence candidates and clients

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience in the high net worth personal lines brokerage space with proven leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, insurance, or related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of personal lines insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive business growth, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in insurance software and technology platforms, with the ability to leverage data analytics and digital tools to enhance client service and business performance.
  • Ability to coach/mentor in concert with achieving personal production goals and leading by example.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management in a positive, mission driven and self-directed manner.
  • Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM, CIC)


WORK LOCATION, SCHEDULE, AND TRAVEL:

This position will be based out of one of Oakbridge's many office locations with 25% required travel; must be flexible with schedule to accommodate workload and client support needs.
