WHAT DO YOU DO?

Responsibilities

  • Coach the sales team on proper closing techniques through training and active participation, and lead the profitability of your team.
  • Manage new car inventory & marketing
  • Strategic inventory acquisition
  • Deliberate daily management of used car inventory levels, turn rates, and appraisals. 
  • Development & oversite of planned marketing strategy.  i.e.Pricing strategy, picture quality, 3rd party placement, online presence, customer correspondence, and sales team awareness
  • Lead and oversee all showroom activities with active involvement with customers and sales staff
  • Mentor new and experienced sales reps on standard methodologies for improving performance.
  • Ensure proper follow-up of all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a CRM system.
  • Establish delivery procedures and monitor performance and execution.
  • Guarantee delivery includes an introduction to the service department and the scheduling of the first service appointment.
  • Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for the dealership, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of sales management experience with responsibility for the used car operation of a successful dealership
  • Possess a successful history of the building and training of a sales team and above-average gross and net departmental profits
  • Strong background in building showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM, direct mail, and other traditional media
