Prime Response Inc. (PRI), is seeking a full-time Transportation Manager to provide logistics base supply support at NASA in Langley, VA for a possible upcoming, long-term government contract.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide full-time, on-site management, of all transportation activities in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and government policies.
  • Analyze, develop, and maintain policies and procedures for the proper execution of transportation functions including freight and passenger ground transportation, shipping, and fleet management.
  • Lead the driver and maintenance technician qualification and training program.
  • Keep up with regulatory requirements and alter work processes to ensure compliance.


Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated logistics leadership and managerial experience.
  • Experience in a military/government/other highly-regulated work environment
  • Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multitask along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
