Role Description:

The Project Engineering Manager role will oversee the various projects within the Engineering department. The position will manage new product implementation into the manufacturing facility to ensure high quality, on time and cost-effective delivery to the customer. Project Engineering Managers are typically responsible for the progress of multiple projects. The job can differ from day to day and requires excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as the position coordinates between the customer and the manufacturing facility.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage new product introduction with defined scope, criteria for success, schedule, financial impacts, risks and plant readiness
  • Collaborate with Operations, Tooling, Maintenance and Engineering
  • Conduct proactive and comprehensive risk management to ensure risks are identified, communicated and mitigation plans are implemented
  • Work with other teams to develop budgets and plans for the projects
  • Evaluate and assess the project’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss project goals and status
  • Other tasks as assigned
