Overview:


Join our committed laboratory team as a Laboratory Technician I. This role provides an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals to gain valuable experience in a medical laboratory setting. You will perform routine laboratory procedures and play a key role in the processing and preparation of patient specimens.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures with a high level of accuracy, under the supervision of Medical Technologists.
  • Prepare, label, and sort patient specimens for analysis, ensuring correct handling to maintain specimen integrity.
  • Operate standard laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, cell washers, and timers efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain laboratory supplies, ensuring availability and orderliness in the workspace.
  • Uphold stringent safety and infection control standards to ensure a safe working environment for staff and patients.
  • Engage actively in laboratory projects and continuous education activities to enhance personal skills and contribute to laboratory service improvements.


Essential Functions:


  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with laboratory personnel and other healthcare team members.
  • Assist in the setup of materials and equipment necessary for specific laboratory tests.
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and results.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance procedures to meet regulatory standards.
