Job Description:
As a Customer Service Representative at Farmers Insurance in Amarillo, Texas, your primary role is to deliver exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their insurance needs. You will manage and update policies, collaborate with the sales team, and provide support to our diverse client base. Effective communication, problem-solving, and a commitment to compliance are key elements of this role. Your contributions will play a crucial part in helping our clients protect what matters most to them.
Role Requirements:
- Customer service experience
- Cross-sell current customers auto, home and business products
- Must be licensed in Property & Casualty or Life Health and Annuities.
- Experience with PC software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, etc.
- Proficiency with metrics and analytics
- The ability to coach others
- A valid driver's license
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients with insurance inquiries, needs, and concerns.
- Manage and update insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and timely renewals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, cross-sell products, and provide quotes.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, if bilingual.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation, entering data into our systems.
- Resolve client issues and concerns, striving for satisfactory solutions.
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
- Work cohesively with team members to support a smooth workflow.
- Stay informed about insurance products and industry trends through ongoing learning.
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to a consistent work schedule.
- Strive to meet and exceed performance targets and goals.
- Educate clients about insurance options to help them make informed decisions.
