Company Summary: Crossroads is an Arizona Department of Health Services licensed substance abuse treatment provider with proven expertise in serving men, women, and Veterans with Substance Use Disorder through the provision of high quality, successful, and affordable residential and outpatient recovery programs.

Job Summary: The Clinic Administrative Coordinator (CAC) is responsible for providing assistance to the Integrated Care Administrator and Clinical Director of Integrated Care. The CAC will be responsible for managing the risk stratification specialist and Clinic Schedulers. The position involves acting as a bridge of communication internally between clinical and medical staff and all Crossroads programs. The CAC will help ensure quality services are provided to clients/patients still enrolled in outpatient clinic services.


Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains employees.
  • Supporting growth and development of managers and clinical coordinators.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the site.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Recommends compensation adjustments.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Involved with handling all employee relation issues.
  • Timecard responsibilities.
  • PTO management.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide appropriate referrals, coordination, and follow-up for patients to services and supports, including establishing long-term services and supports.
  • Oversees and assists with health care appointment scheduling for patients to mental health, substance abuse, and physical health providers.
  • Assist patients in obtaining necessary medications and increasing medication compliance.
  • Work closely with community resources and organizations in coordinating client services.
  • Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need additional support.
  • Complete and file all documentation as required according to Crossroads Policy and Procedures.
  • Ensure staff documentation in each client’s EHR are compliant and completed on time.
  • Attend provider team meetings to promote collaboration of service and treatment providers.
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team consisting of, clinic schedulers and Risk Stratification Specialists, which would include ensuring each staff is meeting value of billable services requirements, scheduling clinic appointments on time and that each staff member is providing quality of care.
  • Coordinating with facility staff at all sites and programs to ensure preventative measures are taken to support medication management.
  • Responsible for staffing and providing solutions for clients receiving services from clinic.
  • Collaborates with outpatient integrated care managers to improve quality of care and outcomes.
  • Attend and participate in individual and/or peer supervision as directed.
  • Provide monthly meeting supervision with staff.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Eligibility to obtain a DPS Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Successfully pass a Background Check.
  • CPR/First Aid training and have a negative TB test.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Provide strong leadership qualities as well as problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

 

 

Education & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Computer/Microsoft office Experience including EHR/EMR experience.

 

 

Work Environment:

  • Fast paced behavioral health residential setting.
  • Primarily indoors, however, some outdoor work may be requested.


Physical Demands:

  • While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and speak or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and seldom lift and/or move >100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


Shift Requirements: 

  • Days, nights, weekends, and holidays.


Travel:

  • Valid AZ Driver’s License.
  • May include travel between sites and other locations.
  • Local and statewide travel when requested or required.
