Position Summary:

The Associate Operations supports the mission of Grace Fellowship Church (GFC) by providing administrative and operational support required by the Executive Pastor to implement and monitor overall operations and planning initiatives for GFC in the primary areas of Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Congregational Care, and Missions. The role serves as a liaison between the Executive Pastor and all staff, congregants, and members of the community. The Associate monitors systems, provides technical and administrative support, manages incidents, and ensures efficient workflows.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides operational/technical and administrative support to congregants, staff, and volunteers troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Monitors system performance and ensures that all systems and processes are running efficiently.
  • Generates reports, analyze data, and documents processes.
  • Identifies and manages potential risks and liabilities of projects.
  • Serves as the central point of contact for offices/teams (staff and volunteers) when multiple units are assigned to projects to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Performs quality control to maintain expected standards.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned of similar scope and complexity.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in system administration and technical support.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

 

Working Hours and Conditions:

Business Hours/Exceptions  

This position is full-time and includes occasinal evenings.

There are currently three “all hands” events per year, Christmas, Easter, and Fall Launch where extra hours are required.

Working Environment

Most work is done on-site, although some work may be done remotely. This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching and the ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Travel Requirements and Expectations

Occasional offsite staff meetings and periodic travel for training and enrichment may be required.
