Granger Construction Company is a family-owned construction company providing construction management and general contracting services throughout Michigan and Ohio.

Position Description

We are accepting applications for Laborers seeking to advance their construction careers. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial construction and remodeling practices as well as a comprehensive understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, materials, specifications, quality and cost control measures and safety requirements associated with commercial building.

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Ability to organize, sequence and perform assigned tasks
  • Move material within or to/from workstations to meet operational needs
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs
  • Demolition work
  • General clean-up, ensuring work stations are clean

Qualifications and Abilities:

  • This is a union position. If not a member of a union, we will assist with membership
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Candidates must have transportation
  • Hours may vary and overtime may be required
  • Good communication skills
  • Travel within a 60-90 minute radius
  • Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions
