Position Summary
The Payroll and Recruitment Administrator is responsible for the processing of payroll, assisting with maintaining employee personnel records, conducting payroll reporting, sourcing applicants, and auditing duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
  • Processes bi-monthly payroll.
  • Run and review reports and verify for accuracy before payroll is transmitted and exported.
  • Research and resolve employee payroll discrepancies.
  • Process additional/off cycle payrolls, bonuses, pay increases, and position changes when appropriate.
  • Administer the Time and Attendance System, including manager training.
  • Communicate with department/location supervisor/managers concerning payroll matters.
  • Assist management and staff with payroll questions.
  • Handle all payroll termination process.
  • Maintain payroll operations by ensuring compliance with established payroll policies and procedures as well as federal and state.
  • Facilitate contact with Insperity’s Time and Attendance technical support for staff.
  • Assist with managing recruitment portal, candidates, and postings.

Qualifications
    • Experience supporting payroll functions.
    • Experience in candidate sourcing.
    • Experience conducting behavioral base interviewing and social media recruitment.
    • Ability to speak Spanish and English preferred.
    • Ability to travel as needed to various site locations.

Requirements:
  • Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance.
  • Valid California Driver's license with two years of experience driving and clean driving record may be required.

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Reasoning Ability:
Apply logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Deal with nonverbal symbolism (e.g., formulas and equations) in difficult phases. Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:
  • Experience in Insperity and Human Capital Management System i.e. Paycom, ADP and other related systems.
