McGregor PACE is a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) that provides an alternative to nursing home placement by enabling seniors to remain at home, in the community.

We are expanding into Lorain County and are seeking a Full-time Center Assistant Float, Monday-Friday, DAY SHIFT ONLY (no evenings, weekends or holidays)..

Our Center Assistant Floats (CAFs) re responsible for providing personal care, safety, and engagement for program participants attending the PACE adult day centers. Center Assistant Floats will be expected to greet and screen each participant, and assist them with ADL/IADLs such as toileting, bathing, feeding, laundry, and meal service. They will also encourage and assist with participation in recreational activities occasionally required to provide Home Care service support when needed and may accompany participants on medical appointments . Candidates must possess a positive and supportive attitude, be flexible, and team oriented.

Qualifications:

1. State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) preferred, or Certified Nursing Assistant, or Home Health Aide certification required

2. High School diploma, or G.E.D. required.

3. Experience in a nursing facility, hospital or adult day care, home care desirable.

4. Valid Ohio driver’s license and working car, required

5. Bilingual English / Spanish a PLUS
