Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for batch production and compounding
  • Operates the necessary tools and equipment for mixing batches such as large capacity mixers, drills, scales, mixing vats, hand tools, etc.
  • Ensures accurate weights and measurements of raw material and finished goods.
  • Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
  • Perform Quality Control Tests on production batches.
  • Release batch for packaging and assist when necessary.
  • Assist Chemist in gathering raw material for lab tests and experiments.
  • Maintain an acceptable pace of production to achieve daily inventory goals.
  • Practice and adhere to Company protocols for quality control.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area, i.e. returning and securing material
  • Observe all safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in inventory counts.
  • Safely operate machines as instructed during in-house training.
  • Adhere to prescribed in house machine maintenance.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by management.
  • Maintain clear communication with your team and other departments.
  • Ensure that management personnel are kept informed of all pertinent product or safety issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, and hazardous/loud equipment.
  • Willing and able to wear all required job specific personal protective equipment.

  • This position reports to the Liquids Production Manager

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • 1-2 years or more of mixing, blending or packaging experience with paints or food items.

  • Partner Incentive Program: When we call our employees Partners, we mean it Our partners may earn significant awards for the achievement of budgeted goals and objectives. The forecasted payout is based on the company hitting certain revenue and profit targets.   • 401k: Partners are eligible for the company 401k plan after 1 year of employment. We put in 3% of all Partners’ wages into their 401k plan regardless of them contributing to it
  • Partners are provided paid holidays, vacation, and sick pay.
