Job Description: The Hybrid Program Support Specialist is responsible for the overall administrative support of the physical therapy program.

Location: Glenside

Responsibilities:

Work closely with Program Director Hybrid DPT, DPT Program Director and DPT Program Manager in all aspects of implementation of the program.

  • Coordinate and communicate with students, faculty and associated faculty.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Hybrid and Residential Program Support specialists.
  • Create and maintain processes to assist with management and assessment of DPT program.
  • Maintain & manage learning management systems
  • Set up and manipulate media between learning platforms
  • Serve as hybrid student point of contact
  • Support and maintain documents for program administration and accreditation
  • Document meeting minutes
  • Post student announcements
  • Maintain Communication database
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of previous professional experience working in an academic or high-level administrative office
  • Strong PC skills including demonstrated expertise in using Microsoft Office applications, Google applications, and other curriculum-related software
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, superior judgment and discretion in handling confidential information, and strong organizational aptitude
  • Previous office experience and ability to work as a committed team member with a willingness to help out where and when needed
  • Must possess mature judgment, professional demeanor and appearance, and possess cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems and initiate and implement projects independently
  • Candidate must also be very detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and to work efficiently and accurately within deadlines
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations
  • Must be a self-starter; possess a positive working attitude, excellent prioritization, problem-solving and decision-making skills; confidentiality, tact, patience, willingness to help and diplomacy are critical features of this position
  • Ability to move about campus and other locations, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Physical ability to include standing and/or walking for long periods, bending, kneeling and stooping, manual dexterity, and ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
