Job Summary

Quintara Discovery (QDI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Frontage Laboratories in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a dynamic and growing biopharma CRO with a proven track record of working with leading biopharmaceutical companies, emerging start-up companies, universities and leading research institutes.

We are looking for a highly motivated Scientist to develop and conduct biochemical and/or cellular assays in the field of in vitro ADME to evaluate potential therapeutics. Prior experience in ADME assays including drug metabolism, drug transporter, CYP450, PPB and measurements of physicochemical properties is required. Proficient knowledge of LC-MS, enzyme kinetics measurements, and/or cell culture is highly desirable. The candidate needs to have a good understanding of small molecule drug discovery processes and experience in a discovery project is preferred. The scientist is expected to be proficient in assay design, trouble-shooting, and data analysis. This position requires working with an interdisciplinary team of medicinal chemists, DMPK scientists, analytical chemists and pharmacologists.

  1. Experience in ADME assays required
  2. Prior industry experience strongly preferred but not required
  3. Experience in small molecule drug discovery and/or LC-MS strongly preferred
  4. Ability to multitask and deliver results with high degree of attention to details to drive projects forward in a timely manner
  5. Strong analytical thinking and knowledge of common statistical software
  6. Organized, self-motivated, and proactive
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
