Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Test Manager to join the Ally ERP Transformation program to implement Workday FIN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for program testing efforts and support the Testing Workstream. The candidate will report to the HCM/FIN Technology Director & Test Lead.
This role will collaborate with the ERP Systems Integrator, ERP Functional and Technical workstreams, Kainos Automation Testing vendor, existing Workday HCM Business and Technical Release team, and Ally's Testing CoE to drive testing (all phases of Workday implementation, automation, and regression testing). The candidate will support test design, test case creation, test automation, and test execution. They will also be responsible for test management for governance, communications, test phase entry / exit criteria, defect and metric reporting, etc.
Mandatory Skills:
Skills, Experience and Qualifications to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Over 5+ years of experience with Workday HCM and/or FIN required
Experience in a at least 1 full cycle Workday HCM and / or FIN implementation
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
Hands on experience in Agile methodology
In-depth experience with Workday test process for integrations testing, functional testing, system integration testing, and regression Testing
Experience with Kainos automation software
Proven project management skills including experience with project management tools (i.e. Jira, qTest, PowerBI, Excel)
Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills
Applies creative solutions and strong problem-solving skills with agility
Led test management from a customer side or projects managed by a Systems Integrator
Strong risk awareness skills and management of risk. Forecasts the risk, evaluates the severity and makes efforts to mitigate without impacting the overall testing timelines
Manage multiple streams of work simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Delivery focused, with high energy and drive.
Credibility, professionalism, and strong personal integrity
Workday certifications are a plus
