What Our Client Needs:

Our client is looking for a Director for their Partial Care program. The purpose of this program is to provide the Partial Care Service leadership and other clinical services to the adults served through agreements with local and state agencies, private practitioners, and grants. Your role is to provide clinical direction and oversight of adult Partial Care program elements through knowledge of the bio-psycho-social paradigm.



What Youll Do:


  • Direct the supervisory staff in the planning, development, and daily operations of the adult ACT Partial Care Program
  • Participate in budget and financial management of the program elements
  • Provides clinical direction and monitors the training/professional growth of staff, students/interns/volunteers
  • Oversees all treatment team conferences
  • Directs the ACT Supervisor in the recruitment, screening, hiring, orientation, evaluation and training of program staff
  • Provides crisis intervention and follow-up treatment as necessary
  • May be on-call 24/7
  • Participates as a member in a variety of committees & boards throughout the Mental Health Child, Adolescent & Adult community
  • Takes lead responsibility in meeting and/or exceeding all State Licensure requirements for the ACT Partial Care Service
  • Provides consultative services to Human Services Division staff and to other community agencies in the field regarding Serious and Persistent Mental Impairment (SPMI) adult issues and services to our client population
  • Maintains established division policies & procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards
  • Guards the confidentiality of client information from both outside persons and Archway Programs employees whom do not require this information to perform their job functions
  • Provide culturally sensitive services that are based on knowledge of cultural diversity to Accomplish quality client care
  • Customer Service: respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience, and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Archway Programs standards
  • Performs other duties as may be deemed appropriate by the CEO



What Youll Need:

  • Masters Degree in one of the mental health professions
  • NJ State Licensure as independent practitioner (LCSW, LPC, etc.)
  • 1-3 years clinical and some demonstrable supervisory experience
  • Supervised clinical internship by licensed mental health professional during Masters Degree program
  • Eligibility for licensure in NJ as per regulation by the Dept of Consumer Affairs/Professional Board
  • Current LCSW or LPC level Clinical Licensure in the State of New Jersey
  • Knowledge of the program and agency objectives, purpose, policies, standards and procedures involved in the psychiatric care of individuals after a period of training
  • Knowledge of medicines administered and side effects.
  • Ability to keep essential records and observe, identify individuals unusual behavior and record or communicate these observations
  • Must consent to an initial and annual criminal background check. The following will preclude a driver or attendant from providing services under this Agreement:
  1. conviction for driving while intoxicated or under the influence of a controlled substance within the previous three (3) years
  2. plea of guilty or nolo contendere or conviction for any felony that is sexual in nature or involves a child, the elderly, domestic abuse, drugs, weapons or violence in the previous seven (7) years
  • Ability to establish and maintain a supportive, positive therapeutic relationship with individuals
  • Ability to understand and identify the symptoms of common consumers diagnoses
  • Ability to learn to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the organization
  • Assist in transportation of consumers as needed
  • Appointees will be required to possess a valid drivers license only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Knowledge of behavioral and/or psychodynamic approaches to treatment and assessment.

  • Treatment skills in individual, group, and family modalities
