PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department in the Human Resources function, including policy and process development and evaluation, employee relations activities, and recruiting.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for the day to day for all benefit programs, including eligibility, enrollment, claims management and communication.
  2. Responsible for ensuring accurate tracking of all leave administration and absenteeism.
  3. Responsible for the day to day recruiting efforts and New Employee Orientation process.
  4. Assist Sr. HR Generalist – Total Rewards with reward and recognition efforts.
  5. Where appropriate, participate in Employee Relations activities, maintaining communication with HR team.
  6. Partner with Management and HR Team to interpret and enforce Company policies, procedures and training.
  7. Participate in employee and supervisor coaching and discipline when necessary.
  8. Draft and send out approved Human Resources and Company Communications.
  9. Complete special assignments as assigned from time to time by Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to handle high job demands including prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work successfully with a variety of people from all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to appreciate and be sensitive to the feelings of others and confidential information.
  • Must have strong PC skills, particularly with MicroSoft Office Tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for success in this position.

MINIMUM REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent related experience.
  • One (1) to three (3) years experience working in a Human Resources department.
