Job Summary

The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the financial operations of our multi-unit organization. The Accounting Manager will have a blend of US and international accounting experience, particularly within a digital environment. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our business, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity.

Education, Experience, and Skills

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

● Extensive experience with 5+ years in accounting leadership roles, with a track record of success in multi-unit environments.

● Strong understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards.

● Proficiency in utilizing advanced accounting software and digital tools for financial management and reporting.

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and regions.

● Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business growth and operational excellence.

● Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

● Experience in project management and process improvement methodologies is a plus.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● Leadership and Development: Mentor the local accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with both the US and international finance teams to align departmental goals and strategies.

● Financial Reporting: Coordinate and complete the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and the Group. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in financial reporting processes.

● External Reporting: Manage communications and reporting to external parties including banks, financial institutions, owners, and regulatory authorities. Uphold transparency and accountability in all external financial interactions.

● Systems and Process Improvement: Drive the enhancement of finance systems and processes, with a focus on integrated automation to streamline financial operations. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and implement innovative solutions.

● Ownership of Accounting Processes: Take ownership of all accounting processes, ensuring adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Implement robust controls to safeguard financial Assets.

● Continuous Improvement Projects: Initiate and lead improvement projects to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and documentation of financial processes and routines. Proactively identify areas for optimization and drive change initiatives.
