Job DescriptionJob Description

Jet Waste Services is looking for a skilled Account Receivable Specialist to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services.

Responsibilities:

· Accounts receivable duties include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations.

· Processing and monitoring incoming payments.

· Securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

· Conducting Collections activities (calls and electronic communications) to verify payment and account information.

· Reconciling accounts weekly to monthly timeframes.

· Updating / adding accounts

· Other duties such as bank deposits or account analysis.

 

Requirements and skills:

· Proven working experience at least as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or accountant.

· Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.

· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

· Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

· Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.

· Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software.

· Proficiency in English, Spanish (Optional),

· Working experience in QuickBooks, and MS Office software including Excel, Outlook, and Word..

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
