Shipping Clerk - 1st and 2nd Shift

Job Summary:

Receiving & Weigh-In Clerk must be able to work in a fast pace environment, be organized, pay attention to detail, and be willing to learn new skills. Flexible hours / work shift.

Job Duties:

  1. Operate Forklift
  2. Load and Unload Trucks
  3. Band and Shrink Wrap Skids Securely
  4. Tag in and Ship Out Customer Products
  5. Order Entry

 

Job Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

2. One or more year’s heat treat or other technical work experience preferred.

3. Certified forklift operator, preferred

4. Must be able to communicate…read, write and speak…in English; Bi-lingual English/Spanish helpful.

 

Mathematical Skills:

General math skills required to perform various calculations as may be necessary.

 

Reasoning Ability:

  1. Must use common sense and capable of making quick, informed decisions.
  2. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Other Skills, Abilities & Experience:

  1. Self-starter, flexible and a good communicator
  2. Excellent time management skills desired
  3. Attention to detail

Physical Demands:

  1. General working environment for a heat treating operation with heat and noise exposure.
