EXPORT COORDINATOR
Overview:
Plan and execute logistics requirements necessary for the successful export orders to the customer’s satisfaction. The activities should be consistently executed within quality process of the company and cost-effective way. Responsibilities: · Order Processing: Receives order, request booking, tank assignment, execute and implement operational activities according to customs request and management direction.

  • Check freight rates applied by carriers against our service contracts or agreed rates, also include request Ocean Freight payment.
  • Schedule loading appointment with plant and/or customer based on product availability and request the service with the depot / truck company.

· Processes all documents in accordance with carriers, customs and customers on timely manner and meeting the standards requirements. Included but not limited to: prepare Ocean Bill of Lading, House Bill of Lading, proof master BL, Dangerous Good Declaration, Bill railing, pre-advise terminals, carriers, etc. · Consistent and timely communication of the shipment status, extra charge details and issues to customers, sales and overseas offices. That also include send the documentation and final details to destination office. · Customers and company timely reports based on policies and SOP. Also include send the details for extra charges approval and request for billing to customer. · Shipment status reporting: Review and daily monitoring, ensures all measurements standards are met · Participate in required meetings or liase with operational management, team leaders and sales on matter that affect customer service. · Other duties as assigned

Education:

- High School Diploma. A college degree is preferred but not required

Experience:

- Logistic/ transportation knowledge with a minimum of 1 year industry experience or corresponding operations experience in the tank container industry;

Specific Skills:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to Multi-Tasks
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office
- Must be ethical, detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize and set goals
- Fluent in English and Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Affinity with working in an international environment

- Must be able to pass background check and drug test

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work requires sitting, writing and correctable vision; frequent use of fingers, hearing, speaking, with occasional light and moderate lifting, light and moderate carrying, reaching, walking, standing and twisting. Work requires ability to read documents, reason, deal with multiple concurrent tasks, communicate both verbally and in writing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
