Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Painter for our client in Rialto. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be proficient in both residential and commercial projects.

1st shift

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor all production materials and equipment.
  • Cross-train in other skills as needed to support production.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of processes.
  • Assist in cross-training other technicians.
  • Collaborate with Plant Leadership and employees on 5-S programs, quality, safety, efficiency, and on-time deliveries.
  • Maintain and monitor safety procedures and PPE in the paint department.
  • Observe and report any unsafe practices or conditions immediately.
  • Ensure safe grounding and operation of equipment.
  • Verify paint viscosity daily.
  • Inspect paint film thickness and coverage.
  • Ensure proper paint component availability.
  • Notify Plant Leadership when materials are low or equipment malfunctions.
  • Move between production assignments as needed.
  • Select, prepare, and mix solutions or coatings per specifications.
  • Prepare and mask parts before coating.
  • Set and monitor bake/cure oven controls.
  • Inspect surfaces for defects before and after coating.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, paint booth, and cure oven.

  • Read and process work orders, prints, measurements, and schedules.
  • Meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain professional relationships with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
  • Handle physically and mentally stressful situations.
  • Prioritize tasks and adapt to changes throughout the day.
  • Comply with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly.
