Job Title: Process Technician
Pay: $25/hr
Location: Cypress, CA
Shift: Trained on 1st (6am-2:30pm), possible transition to 2nd (2pm-10:30pm)
Job Type: Contract (July 2024-May 2025)
Job Scope: Our Process Technician will perform manufacturing/operational tasks for which they have been trained on, consistent with the requirements of the team, statutory and company standards (e.g. Health, Safety, Environment, Quality Management System, and Production System) including the manufacture and assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
Job Duties:
- Perform weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure equipment is safe and reliable.
- Ability to stand for an extended period.
- Ability to lift 50lbs on occasion during a shift.
- Ability to work as an individual and as a team player to get the job done.
- Ability to safely handle compressed gas cylinders and other containers of potentially hazardous chemicals.
- Follow production plans to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to resolve conflicts within the team in the spirit of teamwork to ensure high standards of professionalism at all times.
- Participating in cost reduction/operational improvements to satisfy customer needs.
- This is an entry level position, and we are willing to train the right person.
- Must be able to work a second or third shift depending on business needs.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- To be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc…)
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience within industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with compressed gases in industrial processes.
- Detail oriented and able to follow procedures.
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
