We’re growing and we are excited to add additional Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to our team Radiant Kids Therapy has full-time and part-time SLPA positions available in several areas of San Diego County. We prioritize providing great mentorship, supervision and strong support for all team members. We are looking for candidates that currently have their SLPA License and a minimum of 1 year (2 years preferred) SLPA experience.

We offer flexible schedules, lower caseloads and incredibly rewarding work. You choose your own hours and we fill them in Full-time positions average around 26 actual client service hours/week. Documentation time is built into sessions and scheduling is taken care of for you by our fabulous scheduling team, so you can focus on what you do best: helping kids

We see all of our young clients in-home. Most are early intervention (0-3) with a small percentage of older kids. Our clinicians see clients in clients’ homes in a reasonable driving radius (focused in areas surrounding your home zip code); mileage is reimbursed. Here are some of the main areas we serve, company-wide:

  • Central San Diego area
  • Carmel Valley/Sorrento Valley/Mira Mesa and surrounding areas
  • Poway/ Rancho Penasquitos and surrounding areas.
  • Escondido/ San Marcos and surrounding areas.
  • Oceanside/Vista and surrounding areas
  • East County area
  • South Bay area

We are currently looking for licensed SLPAs with the following qualifications:

  • CA SLPA License
  • Available for at least 12 hours/week (if part-time), or 35-40 hours/week (if full-time)
  • Minimum 1 year SLPA experience required; min. 2 years preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with technology; able to learn digital platforms (e.g., an EMR, Google Drive, etc.)
  • Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Have good physical stamina and mental health
  • Enjoy collaborating with families and colleagues, and also enjoy the autonomy an in-home early intervention position provides
  • Enjoy working with young kids (most clients are 1-3; we also see up through age 18)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and establish rapport with the family
  • Want to work with a supportive, speech therapist-owned and managed company
  • Want to feel the gratification of making a significant impact in the lives of clients and their grateful families

Compensation Rates: $38-45/hr. (DOE); $43-50/hr.: Bilingual Spanish (fluent; DOE). Our full-time and part-time SLPA positions are paid per visit; mileage in between clients’ homes is generously compensated at the IRS rate (which usually adds up to several hundred dollars per month, tax-free). Average weekly client contact hours for full-time: 26 hrs./week. We also offer a generous monthly bonus plan (full-time hourly team members typically earn anywhere from ~$125-250/month bonuses) as well as a lot of monetary benefits and reimbursements (see details below).
