Connecticut based educational non-profit is seeking a Administrative Assistant to join the team Focusing on learning and development growth, the organization assists struggling students and families with ensuing that they are learning to the best of their abilities. As the Administrative Assistant, you will be helping to support the organizations donation efforts.

  • Ensure information and donations are properly recorded, accurate, and up to date in internal systems.
  • Generate and mail thank you letters and tax receipts for all gifts.
  • Support direct mail campaigns as needed, including preparing/segmenting donor and prospect lists, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Support the creation and circulation of donor-impact e-newsletters
  • Assist in producing and formatting reports as needed and/or gathering data and information, as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support, including opening and routing mail; answering telephones; maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies.
  • Provide event and one-off project support as requested.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years in an administrative role
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience with database management system preferred
