The Office Manager oversees the efficient operation of the Houston plant by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This position is the onsite HR representative and assists with OSHA required safety trainings.
- Answers and transfers phone calls
- Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
- Maintains filing systems.
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
- Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
- Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
- Requisitions and receives maintenance and production related supplies
- Maintains a system for recording expenses and the use of petty cash.
- Is the onsite representative for all HR related questions and concerns
- Ensures that all new employees receive an orientation to the organization and that all appropriate training and paperwork is provided
- Maintains relevant HSE logs and documentation, and perform facility HSE Inspections as needed
- Conducts daily and monthly HSE meetings/trainings as needed
- Assists in administering and maintaining compliance programs such as LOTO, Hazardous Communications, EAP, Hearing Conservation, etc.
- Prepares month end, quarterly, yearend reports as assigned
- Maintains vendor contracts
- Performs other related duties as assigned
