Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders and provide expert advice and support on all HR-related matters. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. The HRBP will work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Management:

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Employee Relations:Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

Talent Management:

  • Identify training needs for business units
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Participate in evaluating and monitoring training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and delivery of training sessions for new and existing employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with the legal department as needed/required.


Change Management:

  • Support business units in the planning and implementation of change initiatives.
  • Function as a change agent to drive organizational transformation and continuous improvement.

Performance Management:

  • Support line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to design and execute performance management processes that foster a high-performance culture.

Payroll Support

  • Address and resolve payroll-related issues and inquiries from employees and management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably as an HR Business Partner.
  • Demonstrated experience that aligns with the key responsibilities

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence others.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to manage complex issues with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software, including payroll systems.
  • Fluent in Spanish (verbal, written) required
